Cathay Pacific, TikTok Launch DOOH

We launched Cathay Pacific in TikTok with a series of videos depicting an unreal sky event occurring in Hong Kong, blurring the lines between reality and imagination with VFX. The ‘event’ depicted a Cathay aircraft flying over the iconic Hong Kong skyline, what a first appear to be a set of clouds transform into hundreds of dandelion seedlings which disperse and flaot down into the city. Dandelions, reminiscent of dreams and the hope of possibility were a motif to inspire our viewers. The strategic intention was to inspire people to see beyond what’s usually in front of them with Cathay Pacific; an extension of Carhay’s brand proposition Move Beyond.

Assets included a launch hero with creator POVs who ‘witnessed’ the event from various perspectives in Hong Kong to amplify reach and intrigue.
